| References | Pirfenidone is an anti-fibrotic and anti-inflammatory compound that is used to treat pulmonary fibrosis. Pirfenidone decreases fibroblast production, suppresses expression of TNF-α and IL-1β, and inhibits TGF-β-induced stimulation of collagen production.
