| References | BDP R6G is a borondipyrromethene dye, an analog of BODIPY® R6G. The fluorophore has absorption and emission spectra resembling R6G rhodamine. The carboxylic acid can be used in experiments when conjugation of the dye to other molecules is not necessary.
