| References | Gamma-oryzanol is a mixture of ferulate esters of a number of triterpene alcohols obtained from the seed coat of rice Oryza Sativa Linne (Graminea). This is a purified product of gamma-oryzanol and is used as a reference standard in the measurement of the effective content of gamma-oryzanol in pharmaceutical products. γ-阿魏酸酯是从水稻（禾本科）的种皮中获得的多种三萜醇的阿魏酸酯混合物。它可改善由血清胆固醇偏低、自主神经功能失调及更年期障碍引起的头重或疲倦等不适，具有良好的药理作用， 近年来被广泛应用在药品中。另外，γ-阿魏酸酯能促进血液流通，对脂质有抗氧化作用，因此常被添加到营养面霜和乳液等基础化妆品中。由于环烯基阿魏酸是γ-阿魏酸酯的主要成分，因此在化妆品原料标准中会规定其含量。本产品可用于含有γ-阿魏酸酯的化妆品及γ-阿魏酸酯制剂的定量分析。在含有γ-阿魏酸酯的药品进行有效含量检测时，提取后的γ-阿魏酸酯可作为标准品使用。
