莱菔硫烷（sulforaphane, SFN，SF,又名萝卜硫素）是一种主要存在于西兰花和其他十字花科蔬菜中的异硫氰酸盐类物质。20世纪50年代，西兰花就已经成为国际上备受关注的的抗 癌抗衰老的十字花科蔬菜，当时曾被誉为“防癌新秀”。随后，1992年被发现具有化学保护作用:西兰花中所含的莱菔硫烷（SFN）可以有效地预防肝癌、肺癌、前列腺癌、乳腺癌、直肠癌、胃癌、腺癌、皮肤癌等癌症的发生。目前的研究发现，莱菔硫烷是抗氧化、防癌、抗癌活性等最显著的异硫氰酸盐类化合物，在DNA损伤修复、抑制I相代谢酶、诱导II相代谢酶的表达、清除感染、抑制促进生长的信号通路、细胞周期的阻滞及诱导细胞凋亡等方面发挥着重的调节作用，是一种有效的保护酶诱导物，能够预防和抵抗致癌化合物引起的伤害

【产 品描述】R,S-Sulforaphane is a synthetic version of the naturally occurring compound, R-sulforaphane, from Broccoli. It is a racemic mixture of both the R and S isomers. At room temperature, it is a very slightly yellowish viscous liquid. Its isothiocyanate group reacts with protic solvents such as water and ethanol to form the corresponding thiocarbamates.
It reacts with the sulfhydyl group of cysteine and glutathione to form dithiocarbamates (conjugates).
